Ventilation
Coming soonQTherm is soon launching pipe heat-recovery ventilators, decentralized ventilation with heat recovery. Fresh air without major heat loss and without ductwork.
What are pipe heat-recovery ventilators
Pipe heat-recovery ventilators are single-room units installed through an external wall. They alternately supply fresh air and extract stale air, while a built-in core stores heat and returns it to the room, so you ventilate without major heat loss.
Benefits
Heat recovery
The core captures heat from outgoing air and passes it to incoming fresh air.
Fresh, filtered air
A constant supply of fresh, filtered air without opening windows.
Energy savings
Lower heat loss means lower heating and cooling costs.
Simple installation
No ductwork, installed through an external wall, ideal for renovations.
Quiet operation
Discreet, quiet operation suited to continuous ventilation.
Less humidity and mould
Controlled ventilation reduces humidity, condensation and the risk of mould.
How they work
The units typically work in pairs: while one extracts stale air, the other supplies fresh air, and the direction alternates. This keeps pressure balanced and achieves high heat recovery.
